Mission, Background, and Contact
Hartwig Medical OncoAct® is a molecular diagnostic DNA test developed by Hartwig Medical Foundation, a non-profit organisation in Amsterdam founded by oncologists and researchers.
Hartwig Medical Foundation’s mission is to improve care for patients with cancer.
To do this, we set up a high-tech lab with state-of-the-art whole genome sequencing equipment and have developed bioinformatic software. We developed an OncoAct WGS report for current patients, which outlines all possible treatment options for patients with cancer. For future patients we have, in collaboration with researchers, created a database with data from more than 5,800 patients, which is now used for more than 250 studies worldwide aimed at improving treatment.
